In June 2024, a comprehensive Consumer Education Program was successfully implemented across four regions of Somaliland, aimed at raising awareness about consumer rights and promoting compliance with new regulations.
The initiative included the distribution of informative posters to vehicle owners, fostering a deeper understanding of consumer protection laws. Engaging meetings with senior government officials ensured alignment and commitment to enforcing these new guidelines.
Public lectures were organized to directly educate community members, while mass media campaigns amplified the message, reaching a broader audience. This program represents a significant step towards empowering consumers and enhancing compliance within the region.
