November 24 Hargeisa: The Chairman of the National Insurance Authority of Somaliland, Mr. Ahmed Hersi Duale, stated during the conference that the Authority is implementing a health insurance plan for government employees, and that it will work closely with the Civil Service Commission and the Ministry of Health of Somaliland.
In addition, the National Insurance Authority participated today in a panel session focused on strengthening health financing in Somaliland, where discussions centered on the role of health insurance and its contribution to reinforcing the country’s healthcare system.
Furthermore, the President of the Republic of Somaliland praised the National Insurance Authority and announced that the government fully supports the establishment of health insurance for public sector employees.
