On August 21, 2024, the Director General, representing Somaliland’s financial sector regulators, was honored with the “Best Islamic Finance Regulatory Award” by Alhuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics during a prestigious ceremony held at Skylight Hotel, Addis Ababa.
